Rob Francksen
Rob is a passionate and motivated primary school Executive Headteacher who strongly believes that there are few things as important to the future wellbeing of our world than the quality of play our children receive.
Rob has a first-class honours BSc Science degree, PGCE, Masters in Education degree, National Professional Qualification of Headship (NPQH) and he has written several thesis papers on ‘Green Exercise’, and outdoor learning. He has taught and led across primary, middle and secondary school settings over the past 15 years.
He recently took his own two rural primary schools through the OPAL process, creating a culture shift amongst his staff, pupils and community and achieving the OPAL ‘Platinum’ status for their outstanding play ethos and provision.
Rob is a keen sportsman whose recreational hobbies are centred on football, golf, and going to the gym. He is a professional scuba diver and avid traveller and regularly participates in arduous charity challenges/projects.
