How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
We process your information when an enquiry is made on our website; when you sign up to one of our events; when you enter into a contract with OPAL CIC or an OPAL mentor that operates as part of the OPAL franchise; when you provide information to us; and when a payment is made to OPAL CIC or an OPAL mentor that operates as part of the OPAL franchise.
We use the information that you have given us in order to undertake our contractual obligations to complete the OPAL Primary Programme and OPAL Plus Programme as contractually agreed.
We may share this information with authorised OPAL mentors that operate under the OPAL franchise in order for them to undertake the contractual obligations of completing the OPAL Primary Programme and OPAL Plus Programme as contractually agreed.
We may use this information to send you information related to the service you have enquired about or purchased.
We may share your information if there is a genuine legal obligation for us to do so.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How long we retain your data
