Elizabeth Stevenson

Elizabeth holds an Honours degree in Education and boasts over 35 years of experience in Primary Schools and Early Years Settings.

Over the course of her career she has worked as an Early Years Advisory Teacher, collaborating with a group of nurseries to shape the strategic development of their learning environments alongside a bespoke, child-centred, curriculum. Her approach enriches and empowers children to be active participants in their own learning journey. She is a passionate advocate for outdoor learning and believes in the transformative impact that a high-quality engaging environment can have on children's development and well-being. Her commitment to excellence has led each nursery to achieve consecutive Ofsted Outstanding grades.

In addition to her work in nurseries, Elizabeth's career expanded into a role as a DfE Mentor for their Covid Recovery Programme. During a very challenging time for the sector, she felt privileged to work with a wider network of early years settings providing bespoke support and advice for Nursery Managers and Practitioners.

Elizabeth is married and a proud mother of three children. All her children have benefited from a childhood enriched with outdoor learning, exploration, curiosity and the wonder of nature.
