Philippa has spent the last 18 years working in primary schools and early years settings, where she’s developed a real passion for play and the importance of outdoor learning.

With a PGCE and a degree in Early Childhood Studies, she’s always been driven by the belief that children learn best when they’re happy, engaged, and given the freedom to explore.

Now part of the OPAL team, Philippa is excited to support schools in transforming playtimes – helping to improve children's wellbeing, development, and school experiences through better play.

At home, Philippa is kept on her toes by her two active boys and their sausage dog. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, whatever the weather.
